Red-Light Enforcement
Technology designed to help document defined red-light events at signalized intersections and organize the supporting imagery and data for authorized review.

SaferSmart Zones is software-led and hardware-agnostic. It combines camera infrastructure you may already own, evidence capture and authorized review workflows so public agencies can manage defined transportation and public-safety environments.
Use cases
Each zone has its own rules, its own evidence requirements and its own operational owner. SaferSmart Zones is configured per zone rather than applied uniformly.

5 roadway situations, each rendered in three dimensions. Move the camera, follow the event, and open the record an authorized reviewer would see.
Measure the speed. Add the context.
Loads a 3D scene. Best on a desktop screen.
Plays the recorded scenario.
The enforceable work-zone case: speed. The SmartFlagger is arm-up with a flashing yellow, so traffic is moving and only the approach speed is measured. The signal and barrier state are recorded as context around the reading, not as the violation.
Show the stop state. Capture the pass.
Loads a 3D scene. Best on a desktop screen.
Plays the recorded scenario.
The same work zone under stop control: the arm is down and the signal is showing stop. The scene captures a vehicle passing that state and records what the control was displaying at the moment it happened.
See the event happen at street level.
Loads a 3D scene. Best on a desktop screen.
Plays the recorded scenario.
CAM-01 observes the approach from well before the intersection rather than from the signal itself, measures speed across that approach, and captures the green-to-yellow-to-red sequence alongside the crossing — so the record shows the decision, not just the moment. Installation sits anywhere in a typical 70–120 ft range, depending on the intersection.
See the zone. Understand the event.
Loads a 3D scene. Best on a desktop screen.
Plays the recorded scenario.
A vehicle stops inside the marked bus-stop zone. A transit bus arrives, cannot reach the curb, and has to pull out around the obstruction and back in to set its passenger down. The scene shows the marked zone, the vehicle occupying it, and the record that follows.
See the zone. Act with confidence.
Loads a 3D scene. Best on a desktop screen.
Plays the recorded scenario.
Connected roadside infrastructure observes a defined reserved-lane zone. A fixed lower fisheye camera detects the vehicle inside the zone; a separate camera on the post captures the license plate. Two cameras, two jobs, one record.
Hardware-agnostic
SaferSmart Zones is designed to work with compatible existing and new camera infrastructure. Organizations should not automatically have to replace an entire camera network to introduce SSZ workflows.
Get a complete view of your traffic and transit reality by uniting all data on one platform. Activate your source of truth at the curb.
How it works
From a camera you may already operate, through to a decision made by a person at your organization.
An existing or newly installed compatible camera observes a defined zone under rules agreed with the organization.
When the defined conditions occur, the event imagery and data are recorded.
The event is checked against the zone’s configured rules.
Imagery, location, date and time are assembled into one reviewable record.
An authorized reviewer examines the record and accepts or rejects it.
Accepted events proceed into the organization’s own process.
Evidence & review
Each candidate event is assembled into a single package so the reviewer is not assembling a case from separate systems.
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to named users of the operating organization, and every review decision is recorded. SaferSmart Zones™ operates to SOC 2 and GDPR compliance requirements, with storage location and retention configured per program and data held locally in the market the deployment serves.

Who we serve
Technology should fit the way an organization already works. A program that requires the organization to reorganize around the software does not survive contact with a real operations team.
